Broomfield Colorado is located near the intersection of US 36 and State Highway 287, only a few miles from Denver and Boulder. It began as an agricultural community. Tenant farmers worked half the land in dry crops and half in irrigated farming. Adolph Zang brought in a railroad spur in 1885. Present day Broomfield combines the advantages of small town living with the conveniences of a large city. It became its own county in 2001 and is a master planned community.

The locals are helpful and friendly and strive for a high quality of life. They take great pride in hometown values. Recreational opportunities for people of all ages and activity levels are offered through many lighted tennis courts, athletic fields including soccer, swimming pools, recreation centers and gymnasiums. The city is served by Jeffco Airport with three (3) runways, the longest being 9,000 feet of paved, grooved asphalt.
