Market Update Boulder CO Real Estate and
Surrounding Communities including Estes Park
Hotels are to be built at a rapid rate in the Boulder Valley. The new hotel at 2550 Canyon Blvd will include 171 rooms…two hotels at Canyon Blvd and 28th Street will provide an additional 375 rooms. Hyatt Place, recently opened at Pearl Street and 30th Street, includes 150 rooms and 5,000 sq ft of meeting space. Available office space in downtown Boulder is seeing low vacancies and increasing rental rates. GOOGLE began construction of a new 300,000 sq ft campus in central Boulder.
The four county area encompassing Boulder, Broomfield, Weld, and Larimer Counties now totals 977,263 people…an increase of 8.2% from 2010. Much of this growth has been fueled by the creation of many startup companies in high tech, aerospace, and the outdoor industry.
