Many of you have asked me to provide a chart that would compare Average Sales Price
to Median Sales Price for the first quarter (three months) of 2017, so…below is an overview
of sales activity for single family detached homes in various Boulder Valley areas,
courtesy of IRES – Northern Colorado MLS. Of special note is the Median Sales Price
in Boulder at $825,000, Niwot at $907,000, and Longmont at $388,635.

Provided below with an apology for any boredom is our December 2016 Boulder Market Update
(12 Month Period ending December 31, 2016). Of special note was the Median Sales Price (MSP)
in Boulder at that time of $845,000 versus $825,000 (-2.3%) ending March 31, 2017, the Niwot (MSP)
of $810,000 versus $907,000 (+11.9%), and Longmont (MSP) of $365,000 versus $388,635 (+6.4%).
