Many of you have asked me to provide a chart that would compare Average Sales Price
to Median Sales Price for the first three-quarters (nine months) of 2016, so…below is an overview of sales activity for single family detached homes in various Boulder Valley communities, courtesy of IRES – Northern Colorado MLS. Of special note is the Average Sales Price in Boulder is $1,012,485 (+12.2%)…in Niwot $1,008,978 (+35.4%)…in the Mountains $599,741 (22.3%).

For the same time period in Boulder County, Total Sold Homes through September 2015…3,777; Total Sold Homes through September 2016…3,539 (-6.3%); Average Sales Price through September 2015…$570,283; Average Sales Price through September 2016…$652,936 (+14.5%).
GOOGLE’S work force along 30th Street in Boulder is about to increase from 300
to 1500 workers.
