Many of you have asked us to provide a chart that would compare Average Sales Price
to Median Sales Price for the year 2016 (12 months ending December 31, 2016), so..below
is an overview of sales activity for single family detached homes in various Boulder Valley
communities, courtesy of IRES – Northern Colorado MLS. Of special note is the Median
Sales Price in Boulder $845,000 (+12.7%)…in Niwot $810,000 (+22.7%)…in the Mountains
(+6.0%)…and Lyons (-2.1%). The Average Sales Price in Boulder ending December 31,
2016: $1,020,726 (+11.4%).
Sold Listings Total in the various communities: 4,899…2015; 4,396…2016 (-10.2%).
